Remarkable food and service. I ordered the French onion soup, the half duck with a side of mashed potatoes, the three scoops of ice cream, and espresso. Complimentary bread and accompaniments were delivered to the table. A manager checked on me mid-dinner service to make sure I was happy. I've waited over 25 years to come here. Lovely menu. Formal atmosphere. The table next to me spent over $500 for a party of 3. Expect to spend over $100 per person, if getting appetizers, drinks, and desserts. Make sure to get a reservation.

This restaurant was outstanding in every aspect. The staff were courteous and efficient, the food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was artfully executed. My partner and I started with appetizers to sample a variety of dishes.

One of the best in Boston. Beautiful atmosphere. Accommodating staff. Food that is out of this world. The tuna tartare is as fresh and flavorful as it gets. The white truffle mac and cheese is handed down from the heavens with a constellation of flavors in every bite. The risotto is unexplainably singing with perfect taste and texture. Honestly, this place is worth the hype, price, and wait time to get a reservation.

Extremely tasty food with generous portions - and most of all, amazing service that brought the restaurant to the next level. Got the escargot and tortellini with foie gras (special of the day) for appetizers. Then got the grilled salmon, Cornish hen, prime sirloin, and beef tenderloin pizza with Mistral fries on the side. For dessert, got the sampler platter. Highly recommend the tortellini and pizza - absolutely delicious with so much flavor in each bite.

Very pleasant place, happy atmosphere, nice variety of food for a good family dinner or just a night out with colleagues/friends. Be mindful of your budget for this place, but otherwise I would recommend this restaurant for a dinner. The only recommendation I would have for the management, expand your wine menu beyond traditional French and Italian choices. I noted some Argentinian options, but there are so many emerging countries with elite wine productions these days…

Really tasty food!! Excellent vibe. Got valet parking easily. Can’t decide if the best part of our experience here was the dessert or the service - great people. This is undeniably the place you’d want to go for special occasions. Also love that they change up their menu every now and then.

Food was amazing, portions and drinks were good as well. My sister got the $95 mac&cheese in which she was very disappointed in but loved her salmon dish. I had the Escargots and french onion soup for appetizers which was tasty and filling. Our server Hector is the best server in the world, very attentive and recommended great drinks. Thanks to previous reviews, I got the half whole roasted duck and it was delicious, probably the best I've ever had. Staff were very welcoming and I will definitely be back.

I have dined at Mistral OVER 10x, there’s A LOT to say here so try to keep up. I can confidently say you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu—everything is exceptional. They do NOT skimp out on mussels. Every pizza is incredibly fresh, with house-made sauce and a perfectly crispy undercarriage. The duck is terrific and comes with delightful risotto, and the steak is a classic. Truffle fries can be a hit or miss, sometimes crispy, sometimes not. But the desserts? Absolutely insane. Honorable mentions to all gelato flavors and the torte. There’s a lot to love, so try to keep up! Join me in tracking down the best bites!

For me, this is a guaranteed excellent meal. This was our birthday and anniversary dinner restaurant for years, like 15 years! But somehow we stopped coming- hadn't been in many years. Decided we were way over due so back we came. It was as wonderful as we remembered. A beautiful dining room with tall windows, gorgeous, comfortable seating. The servers are all professional and provide great service in a friendly, welcoming manner. The tuna appetizer is amazingly fresh and perfectly balanced. I also love the mussels but couldn't get all my faves! The manager heard we had been long time patrons and were back again, he stopped by our table. A nice touch. We had the profiteroles for dessert. Delicious as remembered. There is weekend valet parking but we opted for a nearby garage and a short walk. Happy to be back!

Our Easter dinner at Mistral, a French cuisine restaurant in Boston, was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. The star-studded menu, filled with delectable dishes, transformed our evening into an unforgettable gastronomic journey. The Salmon Tartare (special of the day) was a sublime introduction to our meal. It was expertly crafted, offering a symphony of flavors and crunchy texture that danced on our palates. It set the stage for a sensational dining experience that only escalated as the evening progressed. Next, we indulged in the Half Whole Roasted Duck accompanied by an Exotic Mushroom Risotto and Dried Cranberry Gastrique. The duck was cooked to perfection, its succulent flavors wonderfully accentuated by the earthy notes of the mushroom risotto. The dried cranberry gastrique added an unexpected, but welcome, tangy twist, turning the dish into a harmonious blend of flavors. Finally, the Classic Crème Brûlée Raspberries Palmier was the grand finale to our meal. The dessert was a sweet serenade, its creamy texture and raspberry notes creating a memorable melody of sweet indulgence. It was a fitting end to a flawless dining experience. A massive thank you goes out to the entire team at Mistral for their exceptional service and for curating a menu that is a testament to the art of French cuisine.
